Hi Susie, Casey is now 66 pounds and no longer looks like a puppy. He swims twice a day and still has lots of energy left over. Like all goldens he is a long way from getting his brains, but he is a sweet and lovable dog. I had him at the vet today to weigh him and the tech said he has still got some puppy skin to fill. I think I am looking at a 80 pounder by the time he is grown. He is the picture of health, runs like the wind, loves to play.
I use a tennis ball chucker to throw the ball as far into the lake as I can and he just jumps in and goes to it. He even will follow my arm as a pointer if he looses sight of the ball. First dog I have ever had that will do that. He is just what the Dr. ordered for the Stewart House. I hope all of his brothers and sisters are as healthy and happy and loved as this one is.
